Top West Country retailer adopts The Retail Suite

Trago Mills, the West Country’s unique family shopping and leisure parks, has deployed Itim’s The Retail Suite.  Trago Mills has three stores within the South West of England, with a combined turnover in the region of £100 million.  An extensive range of products are on offer within the stores - from 38 selling departments which contain approximately 80,000 product lines in total. A fourth store is currently being developed in South Wales.

The unique trading environment of Trago Mills' meant that it had to a find retail system that could cope with everything, from selling furniture and household goods, through to café and even business to business (B2B).  Having evaluated the market, Trago Mills decided on The Retail Suite from Itim as its system of choice.   The modules chosen included TRS Store, Card Services, Back Office, Sales Audit, Catalogue and MIS which are providing a functionally rich suite of applications.  Following the successful implementation of all of the sites, Trago Mills are likely now to implement TRS Merchandising & Finance to complete the project.

Mick Parker (Head of IT) from Trago Mills commented “The legacy systems that we had in place were very restrictive and expensive to maintain and now that we have The Retail Suite in place, we can react to market conditions a lot quicker.  The Retail Suite has been positively accepted by all of the users whether store staff or central managers and I am extremely pleased to be associated with this project and Itim”

Mike Wheble – UK Sales Manager for Itim said “Having known of Trago Mills for a number of years, this is a great project for Itim to be involved in.  We see Trago Mills as being a core strategic customer and realised at an early stage how highly regarded the brand is by its customers.  With the work that we have done and continue to do with Trago Mills, hopefully we can contribute to the continued success of that brand
